Junior Section

Sleaford Golf Club has a very active junior membership, who regularly take part in their own competitions.  The Club is very proactive in promoting junior golf, and anyone aged 16 to 18 years can become a member for only £50.00 per year, excluding Golf Union Affiliation fees.  Juniors aged between 12 to 15 only pay £25.00 per year, whilst under 12’s on the junior coaching programme can get free membership. This provides as much golf as you can absorb.  Many of our past juniors have become excellent golfers, and have been fortunate enough to have been selected to represented the County and Country on several occasions.

Why not invite your friend to come and play golf with you during the summer holidays. There is now a prospective membership scheme in place so that your friends can play up to 6 rounds of golf for only £5.00 per round during the Junior Saturday afternoon meet.  After 6 rounds they can then make the decision if they would like to join, and only have to pay £20.00 towards the cost of their membership. This scheme is only available if our Trainee Professional, Daniel Thomas, determines that a junior is competent to play on the course in a manner that ensures his or her own safety, and the safety of other golfers.

If you are a prospective junior member and at least one of your parents is a Playing Member of the Club, then you can get FREE membership until you achieve a recognised golfing handicap or become 12 years of age whichever is the sooner.
