In the first instance I would like to thank the Senior Section for electing me their Captain for the 2024/25 season. I pledge to continue in Past Captain Ian’s footsteps in making Senior golf at Sleaford enjoyable and accessible to anyone over the age of 55.

Our Senior Section at Sleaford has over 350 participants, and that number is growing. Players of all handicaps, from low single figures to some higher, more generous allowances, compete in Stablefords, medals, trophy competitions and home and away fixtures against sixteen other golf clubs virtually every week. If anyone is looking to sharpen their golf game, then here at the Seniors is the place to do it!

It must be said that all sections of the Club merge and cooperate on a very impressive scale. The acceptance and friendliness that I have experienced here at Sleaford is second to none. All for One, One for All would be a very good motto for us.
