Club Championship weekend was a very wet affair, with almost constant rain over the weekend. Mick Baines retained the Club Championship with scores of 74-67, beating Kev Blow (73-70) and James Burnett (72-71). Mick is seen in the picture on the left collecting his prize from Club Captain, Mick Walton.
The Peake Medal winner for the best net score over the two days, went to Ken Kerr with scores of 68-68 to win by two shots from Darren Leonard. Ken is pictured (centre) below receiving his prize from the Club Captain, Mick Walton. Bothe winners are shown in the picture on the right.
On Sunday 14th July at Boston Golf Club, we managed to win the LUGC Sir Henry Lunn Shield. The team consisting of Dillon Ormesher, Dan Withers and Michael Baines won with a score of 211, winning on a countback from Market Rasen Golf Club.
Congratulations also to Mick Baines on winning the best individual 36 holes score of 76 points, and receiving the R and A Trophy.

Due to the hard work of Mr Nick Lawson, the Club were shortlisted for the Best Countryside & Small Business award at the 2019 Lincolnshire Environmental Awards. Whilst we didn’t win the top prize, the Club were highly commended on the work that we do. Congratulations to all those involved.
