Ladies
A very warm welcome to the very active Ladies’ Section of Sleaford Golf Club. The Ladies’ Section now has around 90 members and regularly sees up to 50 participants in weekly competitions.
Ladies’ Competition Day is Tuesday, where competitors may play at any time during the day, but many other competitions are held during weekends, with some being split between the 2 days to encourage maximum participation. A number of charity events are run throughout the year, with the Lady Captain nominating her charity for each year. Our Ladies’ Open Events are always fully subscribed. The traditional ‘Days Out’ are also very well attended and enjoyed.
A very strong and competitive league team has recently been promoted to the Lincolnshire League Division 2 South – their 3rd promotion in 4 years, but there are also many friendly matches, both ladies and mixed, throughout the golfing calendar for all levels of golfers.
Away from, or after golf, the ladies regularly meet for informal social occasions and an annual presentation evening. With a growing ladies’ section and a wide range of levels of golf being played, you can be sure that a warm welcome awaits you at Sleaford Golf Club.
